SOFTBALL

Wesco 4A

Jackson 3, Lake Stevens 0 (9)

LAKE STEVENS — Allie Thomsen drove in two runs and Hailey Pelletier added an RBI in a three-run ninth inning as Jackson outdueled Lake Stevens to clinch the Wesco 4A regular-season title.

Yanina Sherwood struck out 14 and allowed just three hits and one walk in a brilliant shutout in the circle for Jackson (18-1, 6-1 Wesco 4A), which will finish league play with a home game against Mariner on Wednesday and then enter the bi-district tournament as the top seed from Wesco.

Charli Pugmire struck out 10 and allowed just five hits and one walk in nine outstanding innings, and Alexa Bradley, Emery Fletcher and Zoe Hopkins all had base hits for Lake Stevens (13-5, 3-4), which will close its regular season with a game at Glacier Peak on Wednesday that could determine the final playoff berth from the league.

Glacier Peak 7, Kamiak 1

MUKILTEO — Faith Jordan homered and struck out three over four scoreless innings as Glacier Peak tallied a huge league win over Kamiak on Monday.

Jordan, Katelyn McCallum, McKellen Hamilton and Ashleigh Wojcik all had multiple hits for Glacier Peak (14-3, 4-3 Wesco 4A), which took a one-game lead over Lake Stevens for the third and final playoff spot from the league with one game to play against each other.

Kamiak fell to 17-3 overall and 5-3 in league, but had already secured the league’s second playoff berth behind Jackson.

Wesco 3A/2A

Snohomish 9, Monroe 2

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish clinched the Wesco 3A/2A regular-season title with a win over Monroe on Monday afternoon.

Snohomish (16-3, 14-0 Wesco 3A/2A) won its 11th straight game and will host Mountlake Terrace on Wednesday with a chance to finish undefeated in league play.

Monroe fell to 6-14 overall and 6-9 in league play.

Everett 14, Lynnwood 2 (5)

BOTHELL — Isa Davis went 3-for-6 with two home runs, a double and six RBI as Everett finished the regular season with a win over Lynnwood.

Taylor Millar went 4-for-4 with a double, four RBI and struck out six in five solid innings on the mound, Madeline Pewitt finished 3-for-4 with a triple, double and two runs scored, and Ruby Wacker and Emma Hoffman drove in two runs each for Everett (10-10, 8-7 Wesco 3A/2A).

Sydeny Weitkamp had two hits, and Nyree Johnson and Malina Holden each had a double for Lynnwood (4-15, 3-12).

Marysville Getchell 17, Shorecrest 0 (5)

MARYSVILLE — Lilyana Balgos and Hayden Kranz both went 3-for-3 and Marysville Getchell rode a 12-run third inning to a league win over Shorecrest.

Marysville Getchell improved to 9-8 overall and 7-6 in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Prisila Santiago, Lucy Johnson and Melina Limantzakis each had a base hit for Shorecrest (4-15, 0-14).

Mountlake Terrace 6, Meadowdale 2

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Bri Reyes went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI as Mountlake Terrace used a balanced effort on offense for a league win over Meadowdale.

Kaylee Mitchell went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Cameron Dunn finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and Ellie Gilbert doubled, drove in a run and struck out nine and allowed just one earned run on two hits in a complete game in the circle for Mountlake Terrace (12-5, 10-3 Wesco 3A/2A).

Analise Griffiths had a double, run scored and a stolen base, and Mia Cantu added a base hit for Meadowdale (11-8, 9-5).

Cedarcrest 16, Marysville Pilchuck 0 (5)

DUVALL — Rachel Krivaneck hit a grand slam to help Cedarcrest power to a league win over Marysville Pilchuck.

Kaylee Hulse went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI, Abby Combs finished 1-for-1 with a double, and Emma Duke struck out four and allowed just two hits in the shutout for Cedarcrest (10-7, 9-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Sonia Cappello and Jaiven Harper each had a base hit for Marysville Pilchuck (4-14, 1-13).
