SNOHOMISH — Lucy Cornelius was 13-for-13 serving with three aces and delivered 13 assists to lead Glacier Peak (3-0 overall) to a 25-23, 25-16, 25-16 sweep of the Seagulls. Everett (1-2) was led by Ava Urbanozo (25 assists, three aces, three digs), Laruen Desimone (eight kills), and Grace Regan-Bone (two aces, eight digs). Ava Nowak contributed 13 kills for the Grizzlies while Estefania Guerrero was 15-for-15 serving with four aces. Both teams will play in a tournament at GP on Saturday before opening league play next week.

Archbishop Murphy 3, Marysville Pilchuck 1

EVERETT — Teuila Halalilo’s 14 kills and 16 assists, Ashley Fletcher’s 15 kills and two aces, Laura Esping’s six kills and 29 assists plus Amelia Harris’ 19 digs all added up to a 25-13, 25-18, 23-25, 25-20 victory for the Wildcats (2-1 overall). The Tommies (2-1) were led by Aideen Bobadilla (15 digs, two aces, four assists), and Darina Glassburn (12 assists, 13 digs).
