Steilacoom 28, Meadowdale 22 (OT)

STEILACOOM — Meadowdale jumped out to a 22-6 lead at halftime in part to three interceptions from Victor Eicher, including one returned 100 yards for a score, but couldn’t hang on and dropped the non-league game.

Steilacoom scored a short rushing touchdown with under a minute to play and added a two-point conversion to send the game to overtime. The Sentinels then won the game with a short rushing touchdown in the extra period.

Cameron Platt and Luis Partida del Rosario each had rushing scores for Meadowdale (3-2).

Steilacoom improved to 3-2 overall on the season.

Kamiak 2, Glacier Peak 0

MUKILTEO — Britney Nelson-Beier had a goal and an assist, and Elysa Morse posted a shutout in goal to help lead Kamiak to a league win.

Aliya Johnson also scored, and Campbell Bovey added an assist for Kamiak (6-2-2, 3-0-0 Wesco 4A).

Glacier Peak dropped to 0-7-0 overall and 0-2-0 in league.

EDMONDS — Rachel Rietz and Rayven Hewitt scored two goals each as Meadowdale rolled to a league win.

Hazel Maxwell, Emmi Kuecker, Saylor Eckelbarger and Dulce Alvarez also scored from Meadowdale (3-5-1, 3-4-1 Wesco 3A/2A).

Lynnwood fell to 0-9-0 overall and 0-8-0 in league play.

Shorecrest 8, Cascade 0

SHORELINE — Bria Metcalf Lindenberger scored three goals, and Tati Zahajko and Kylee Mitchell combined for the shutout in goal as undefeated Shorecrest rolled to a league win.

Emma Orthel, Sara Ehrhart, Darci Dalziel, Kiernan Ledoux and Taylor Christensen all added goals for Shorecrest. Khan had two assists, and Christensen, Ezzie Fogg and Mischa Simp had one assist each for the Scots (9-0-0, 8-0-0 Wesco 3A/2A).

Cascade fell to 3-6-0 overall and 2-6-0 in league.

Edmonds-Woodway 2, Mountlake Terrace 1

EDMONDS — Edmonds-Woodway scored twice in the second half, including the game-winner in the final 4 minutes, to earn the come-from-behind league win.

The Warriors improved to 5-3-1 overall and 5-2-1 in league play.

Ava Hunt scored on an assist from Claire August in the first half for Mountlake Terrace (5-3-1, 5-2-1).

EVERETT — Rebekah Carter had eight kills, five aces and nine digs, and Maya Velasquez added two kills, five aces and two blocks to help lift Marysville Pilchuck to a 25-17, 20-25, 25-15, 25-10 league win.

Anna Dantas had six kills and two aces, Aideen Bobadilla added 14 digs and two aces, and Aliyah Lope chipped in five assists, two digs and three aces for Marysville Pilchuck (3-4, 3-4 Wesco 3A/2A).

Amara Williams had four kills, eight aces and one block, Sally Sylla added three kills, two blocks and one ace, and Suleyka Uriostegui had 13 assists, two aces, one block and one kills for Cascade (2-6, 1-5).

SNOHOMISH — Shorewood continued its hot start to the season with a 28-26, 25-16, 25-21 league sweep over Snohomish.

Shorewood improved to 8-1 overall and 5-1 in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Heidi Chambers had six kills, one ace and a 1.7 serve receive, Kelsey Nichols had six kills, nine digs and one ace, and Anika Smith added 17 digs, one ace and a 1.9 serve receive for Snohomish (4-3, 4-2).

LYNNWOOD — Hanna Ligons had eight kills and Emma Nowak added six kills as Glacier Peak earned the non-league win by set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 14-25 and 25-14.

Tessa Mossburg had 12 digs and Chloe Wiersma chipped in 24 assists for Glacier Peak (6-3).

Jackie Tang had five kills and five digs, Sofia Brokmeyer had 19 digs, and Laiken Thoesen added 22 assists for Meadowdale (4-4).

Mountlake Terrace 3, Mariner 1

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Maya Faulkner had 11 kills, 10 digs and one ace, Sierra Swan had 23 digs and Haley Trinh added 22 digs to help lead Mountlake Terrace to a hard-fought 17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 26-4 non-league win for its first victory of the season.

Emerson Alley had two kills, 21 assists and 16 digs, Sarah Simula had five kills and Anna Choi added three aces for Mountlake Terrace (1-7).
