Lake Stevens 58, Ferndale 52

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Maddox Preder led all scorers with 17 points and the Vikings topped the Golden Eagles at the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament.

Tyson Eyman scored 11 points and Marshall Adams and Javon McFerrin each added eight points for Lake Stevens (5-3), which has won three of its past four games.

Bishop Ootsey and Bhavnoor Grewal had 11 points apiece to pace Ferndale (1-7).

Jackson 81, Emerald Ridge 68

BURIEN — Sylas Williams scored 20 points, Harris Kampe had 18 points and the Class 4A ninth-ranked Timberwolves beat the Jaguars at the Kennedy Catholic Christmas Shootout.

Ty Hale connected on four 3-pointers for all 12 of his points, Caden Sproul and Mason Johanson each added eight points and 10 different players scored for Jackson (5-1).

Tony Harste scored 15 points and Jacob Lane had 14 points to lead Emerald Ridge (2-5).

Monroe 67, Burlington-Edison 56

BURLINGTON — Steve Kuhnle and Ethan Hogan combined to hit nine 3-pointers and scored 18 points apiece to lead the unbeaten Bearcats to a victory over the Tigers at the Burlington-Edison Winter Invite.

Reid Scaeffer added six points and eight different Bearcats (7-0) scored.

Blaine Granberg netted a game-high 20 points to pace Burlington-Edison (2-6).

Lynden Christian 55, Glacier Peak 44

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Cooper Jensen led Glacier Peak with 14 points, but the Grizzlies fell to Class 1A top-ranked Lynden Christian at the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament.

Jo Lee had 13 points and Nate Spang added 12 points for Glacier Peak (4-3).

The Lyncs improved to 9-0.

Mount Vernon 88, Everett 58

MOUNT VERNON — Daniel Savovic led Everett with 20 points, but the Seagulls fell to the Bulldogs in a non-league game.

Hayden Conaxis added eight points and Mo Jaiteh chipped in seven points for Everett (5-4).

Quinn Swanson scored a game-high 27 points and DeVari Davis added 21 points to lead Mount Vernon (4-4).

Meadowdale 52, Interlake 44

LYNNWOOD — Jaymon Wright had 22 points and seven rebounds to lead the Mavericks past the Saints in a non-league contest.

Devon Waldrop-Leathers added 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists and David Janzen had six points and 10 rebounds for Meadowdale (3-6).

Mac Fleming scored 17 points and Shelton Henton had 16 points for Interlake (1-6).

Edmonds-Woodway 49, Ballard 45

EDMONDS — Will Bates recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds and the Warriors held off the Beavers for a non-league victory.

Ben Hanson added 11 points and Dennis Karl had 10 points for Edmonds-Woodway (3-4).

Jack Swartz scored 10 points to lead Ballard (3-6).

Mountlake Terrace 55, Rogers (Puyallup) 54

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Jaxon Dubiel hit a pair of free throws in the final seconds to lift the Hawks to a come-from-behind win over the Rams at the Mountlake Terrace Holiday Tournament.

Dubiel finished with a team-high 17 points, Chris Meegan added 12 points and Zaveon Jones had 10 points for Mountlake Terrace (5-4).

Rogers dropped to 5-6.

LYNDEN — Jenna Villa netted 20 of her game-high 23 points in the second half, Samara Morrow added 17 points and the Class 3A third-ranked Eagles pulled out a come-from-behind win over the 2A fourth-ranked Mustangs at the Lynden Christmas Classic.

Villa connected on 14 of 15 free throws in the second half and Arlington (6-1) made 26 of 35 from the foul line in after trailing 33-25 at the break. Kierra Reese chipped in 11 points and Maddy Fischer seven points for the Eagles, who secured their sixth straight victory.

Laylee Dixon scored 15 points and Kendra Goeneveld added 11 points for Prosser (4-2).

Meadowdale 58, Hazen 47

LYNNWOOD — Gia Powell scored 13 points and Jordan Leith had 12 points to lead a balanced attack as the Mavericks topped the Highlanders in a non-league game.

Samantha Medina added 10 points and Audrey Lucas chipped in eight points for Meadowdale (6-3).

Hazen fell to 4-4.

West Valley (Yakima) 61, Jackson 43

MILL CREEK — Hannah Mack led Jackson with 21 points, but the Timberwovles fell to the Rams in a non-league game.

Giselle Dogan added 11 points for Jackson (3-8).

Laiken Hill netted a game-high 25 points to lead West Valley (4-5).

Lake Stevens 54, Sunnyside 49

MOSES LAKE — Nisa Ellis led a balanced effort with 15 points and the Vikings pulled out tightly contested non-league victory over the Grizzlies.

Perla Ruiz scored 12 points, Emma Saylor had 10 points and Ella Edens and Madelyn Ask added six points apiece for Lake Stevens (5-2).

Baylee Maldonado led Sunnyside (6-3) with a game-high 21 points.

Lynnwood 63, Ballard 45

BOTHELL — Aniya Hooker poured in a game-high 23 points and the Royals bested the Beavers in a non-league game.

Kayla Lornez added 13 points, Teyah Clark had 11 points and nine different Lynnwood (4-3) players scored.

Neveah Harman led Ballard (1-7) with 14 points.

Shorewood 42, Sonoma Valley (California) 33

TEMPE, Ariz. — Joy Brandenstein scored 11 points and Rachel Te had 10 points to lead the Stormrays to a victory over Sonoma Valley at the Cactus Jam Tournament.

Shorewood improved to 3-4.
