Shorewood 4, Ballard 3 (9)

SHORELINE — Isaac Van Horn hit a walk-off single on an 0-2 count in the bottom of the ninth inning as Shorewood earned a thrilling non-league win over Ballard.

Noah Fahey went 2-for-3, and Finn Liekkio, Jameson Connolly and Rory Swanson tossed three innings each and combined to scatter just five hits in the win for Shorewood (1-1).

Truitt Madonna and Max Finkelstein had two hits each for Ballard (0-2).

Mountlake Terrace 14, Marysville Getchell 1

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Ryan Melgardshagen, Ethan Swenson and Riley Norton drove in two runs each as Mountlake Terrace rolled to a non-league win over Marysville Getchell.

Swenson and Norton scored two runs each, and Braden Thompson allowed just one hit in three strong innings to earn the win for Mountlake Terrace (2-0)

Chayse Randle went 1-for-2 with an RBI and Brad Johnson went 1-for-2 with a run scored for Marysville Getchell (1-2).

Lake Stevens 4, Mount Si 3

LAKE STEVENS — Cole Becker allowed only one run in five strong innings to help lead Lake Stevens to a close non-league win over Mount Si.

Aspen Alexander went 2-for-2 with two RBI for Lake Stevens (2-0).

Mount Si fell to 0-1 on the season.

Bishop Blanchet 5, Lynnwood 1

BOTHELL — Keenan Masters struck out eight in 5.1 quality innings pitched, but Lynnwood fell to Bishop Blanchet in a non-league game.

DJ McGuire and Sergio Navarro had base hits for Lynnwood (1-1).

Bishop Blanchet improved to 3-0 on the season.

Edmonds-Woodway 4, Ingraham 1

SEATTLE — Lukas Wanke struck out five and allowed no runs in four innings pitched to help lift Edmonds-Woodway to a non-league win over Ingraham.

Drew Warner went 1-for-3 with a run scored and also allowed just two hits in three inning pitched, and Luke Boland went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base for Edmonds-Woodway (1-0).

Chase Mangan had an RBI and a stolen base for Ingraham (2-1).

Shorecrest 3, Interlake 2

BELLEVUE — Dillon Carrell hit a go-ahead RBI single with two outs in the top of the seventh inning and Hudson Ekstrom shut the door in the bottom of the frame as Shorecrest earned a tight non-league win over Interlake.

Jake Lockwood went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Hudson Cunningham allowed two runs in five quality innings on the mound for Shorecrest (2-0).

Mehmet Uslu struck out nine in six innings pitched for Interlake (0-1).

Lake Washington 4, Monroe 2

MONROE — Ethan Hogan went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Kody Edelbock added an RBI, but Monroe fell to Lake Washington in a close non-league game.

Connor Campbell allowed three runs, two earned, and struck out three in 5.1 innings pitched for Monroe (1-1).

Camden Gillespie went 2-for-2 with two doubles for Lake Washington (2-0).

LAKE STEVENS — McKenna Richer drove in Haylee Kim with a walk-off double as Lake Stevens scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally for a thrilling non-league win over Roosevelt.

Down one entering the final frame, Alex Bradley walked to open the inning and advanced to second on a passed ball. Kim doubled home Bradley to tie the score at 7-7. After a Zoe Hopkins sacrifice bunt moved Kim to third, Richer ended the game with the walk-off hit.

Richer doubled twice and drove in two runs, and Hopkins and Tatum Cooper added two hits each for Lake Stevens (3-0).

Maddie Lee and Steffi Young had two hits each for Roosevelt (1-1).

Kamiak 13, Juanita 2 (6)

BOTHELL — Scarlette Chapman homered, drove in five runs and had three of Kamiak’s 22 hits in a non-league rout of Juanita.

Kylie McClure went 4-for-5 with two RBI, and freshman Synclair Mawudeku went 4-for-5, drove in a run and tossed five three-hit innings with five strikeouts for Kamiak (2-0).

Juanita fell to 1-3 on the season.

Cascade 23, Mariner 1 (5)

EVERETT — Abby Surowiec went 4-for-6 with two doubles and four RBI and earned the win in the circle with a complete game as Cascade rolled past Mariner in a non-league game.

Jayden Wilson went 5-for-5 with a double and four RBI for Cascade (2-0), which put the game away early with nine runs in the first inning.

Danika Molisani went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Sabrina Abdulkadir went 1-for-1 for Mariner (0-2).

Sedro-Woolley 15, Lynnwood 4 (5)

BOTHELL — Ashara Taylor went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, but Lynnwood fell to Sedro-Woolley in a non-league game to open its season.

Nyree Johnson doubled and drove in a run, Mirelia Vazquez went 1-for-1 with an RBI and Brier Knoth added a double for Lynnwood (0-1).

Sami Stark had four hits for Sedro-Woolley (2-0).

Mountlake Terrace 6, Bishop Blanchet 5

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Cameron Dunn and Ellie Gilbert both doubled and drove in two runs and Mountlake Terrace scored six runs in the bottom of the third inning and hung on for a non-league win over Bishop Blanchet to open its season.

Freshman Amaya Johnson went 2-for-3 with an RBI and also allowed no hits over the final 2.2 innings in relief to close the game for Mountlake Terrace (1-0).

Gracie Kindrid and Ella Yerkes had two hits each for Bishop Blanchet (1-1).
