Skyline 2, Lake Stevens 1
LAKE STEVENS — The Spartans (15-1-3 overall) defeated the Vikings (14-1-2) to advance to the state tournament. Lake Stevens will host Lincoln 2 p.m. on Saturday for another chance to secure a spot in the state tournament. Skyline will play one more district tournament game, also at 2 p.m Saturday., at Woodinville — though both teams will be advancing to state regardless of the outcome.

2A District 1 Tournament (winner to state)
Burlington-Edison 3, Archbishop Murphy 0
BELLINGHAM — The Tigers (19-1 overall) swept the Wildcats (17-2) to secure a berth in the state tournament. Archbishop Murphy will have one more shot at state when they face either Lynden or Sehome 1 p.m. Saturday at Meridian High School.
