BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Wesco

Arlington 40, Lake Stevens 48, Stanwood 61, Monroe 100, Snohomish 114

STANWOOD — Ryan Khoury was the medalist on his 4,000-meter home course at Stanwood High School. Arlington, led by Lucas Spurling’s fifth-place finish, took five of the top 11 spots for the team win.

Emerald Sound

SEATTLE — Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) won the nine-school event at Magnuson Park. King’s placed sixth and Granite Falls was ninth.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Wesco

Arlington 31, Lake Stevens 33, Stanwood 84, Snohomish 92, Monroe 155

STANWOOD — Arlington’s Brooke Henkin, Anabelle Klein and Raelyn Oetzel crossed the finish line less than a second apart to claim the top three spots and lead the Eagles to victory. Lake Stevens claimed five of the next six positions to finish second as a team.

SEATTLE — Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) won the eight-school event at Magnuson Park. Granite Falls finished sixth, while Granite Falls placed eighth.
