Prep softball: Archbishop Murphy 15, Lakewood 2 (5 innings)

EVERETT — Chelsea Newgard batted 3-for-3 with a double, home run and five RBI for Archbishop Murphy in the Cascade Conference win. Starting pitcher Amber Manuel pitched a complete game and also added three hits and four RBI for the Wildcats. Lakewood catcher Arianna Barrio had two doubles and an RBI.
