EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy’s three-run fourth inning helped the Wildcats cap off a huge win over Cedarcrest in a battle between the top two teams in the Cascade Conference.
Archbishop Murphy’s team captains both came up big in the win. Catcher Alyson Matriotti went 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs scored and Baylee Robertson pitched seven innings and picked up the victory.
Nicole Manuel went 2-for-4 on the night for the Wildcats.
Kayla Blakslee, Elaine Townley, Maddie Nixon, Hailey Lacher all hit doubles for Cedarcrest. The Red Wolves maintain a narrow lead in first place despite the loss.
