Prep softball: Darrington 14-19 , Concrete 10-14

CONCRETE — In the first game of the Northwest 1A/2B doubleheader, Darrington used a nine-run seventh inning to help give pitcher Randi Wales her first win of the year. Jessica Brooks homered and hit 3-for-4 to lead the Loggers in Game 1. The second game took 10 innings as both offenses scored in the eighth, ninth and 10th innings, but the Loggers six runs in the 10th were more than enough to secure the second victory. Wales struck out 11 batters and laced five hits in the second game.
