Prep softball: Everett 6, Marysville Pilchuck 0

EVERETT — Sydney Taggart batted 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Demaree Trull went 2-for-4 with a triple as Everett defeated Marysville Pilchuck in a 3A District 1 Tournament consolation game. With the win the Seagulls advance to face Glacier Peak on Thursday at 4 p.m.
