MILL CREEK — Trailing 8-4 entering the bottom of the sixth inning, Jackson rallied for five runs to earn the Wesco 4A victory.
Taylor Adams, Tiana Lopez, and Kaylei Werner each singled to load the bases in the sixth. Sophie Frost then hit a two-run single, and freshman Sam Mutolo followed with a three-run HR to give Jackson the lead for good. Kaylei Werner went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for Jackson. Maddy Podnar earned the victory in relief for the Timberwolves.
Peyton Beaver was 2-for-3 with a HR, and Cassidy Fifield was 3-for-5 for Lake Stevens.
