Wesco 4A

Jackson 7, Glacier Peak 0

MILL CREEK — The Timberwolves (7-10 overall, 4-3 league) scored in all but one of six innings while University of Washington commit Allie Thomsen (4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 9 K) rendered league leader Glacier Peak (11-4, 6-2) scoreless. Thomsen’s strong day in the circle carried over to the offense, as she homered twice to bring in three runs and score twice on a 3-for-4 day. Mia Ediger (2-for-3, HR, 2 RBI, run) also found a home run on a solo shot in the third. The Grizzlies made their four hits count — Lauren Hufford (1-for-3, 2B) had one of three Glacier Peak doubles. The Grizzlies remain two games ahead in first place while Jackson sits in third as the season wanes.

Lake Stevens 13, Cascade 3 (6)

LAKE STEVENS — In a shortened affair, the Vikings (9-8, 3-4) went 12-for-30 and drew eight walks to move past the Bruins (5-11, 1-5). Reese Breckenridge (2-for-4, 4 RBI, run) brought in a game-high four runs while Cassie Raysbrook (1-for-2, 2B, 3 runs) scored a game-high three runs for Lake Stevens. Tessa Hahn (1-for-3, 2B, 2 RBI) kept the game going for Cascade with two RBI on a fifth-inning double.

Non-league

Snohomish 3, Kamiak 2

MUKILTEO — The Panthers (11-5) scored all three of their runs in the sixth inning to take down the host Knights (11-5). Roz Girard (1-for-3, RBI) hit a single to bring in the final run of the frame while the first two Snohomish scores came on errors, of which Kamiak had four. Abby Edwards pitched a complete game for the Panthers, striking out nine and allowing seven hits and one earned run. Synclair Mawudeku also pitched the whole outing for Kamiak, finishing with six Ks, three hits allowed and no earned runs.

Arlington 10, Edmonds-Woodway 8

ARLINGTON — The Eagles (5-10) outlasted the Warriors (11-5, 7-1) on the strength of eight third-inning runs. Eight different Arlington runners scored as the team managed four extra-base hits. Grace Strothman (1-for-3, 3B, 2 RBI, 2 runs) hit the only triple of the game as three Eagles notched 2 RBI. Edmonds-Woodway pitcher Helena Marsh (3 IP, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K) came on for the final three frames and only let two runners on base as Edmonds-Woodway’s comeback attempt came up short. Catie Ingalls (0-for-2, 3 runs) scored a game-high three runs for Edmonds-Woodway.

Stanwood 3, Ballard 2 (8)

STANWOOD — Shayla Calkins (1-for-2, SF, RBI) hit a walk-off sacrifice fly while Addi Anderson pitched eight innings for 11 Ks and just one hit allowed (5 BB) in a dramatic Stanwood (13-2) win. Anderson also made her lone hit count on a 1-for-4 day, picking up a solo homer in the third.

Everett 13, Cedarcrest 3 (6)

EVERETT — The Seagulls (7-8) got out to a 7-1 lead through two innings and didn’t look back in a run-rule win. Mia Hoekendorf (1-for-4, RBI, 3 runs) equaled Cedarcrest’s run total while Katy Tedrow (2-for-4, 2 RBI, 2 runs) and Addison Rehm (1-for-2, 2 RBI) were the only players in the game to earn multiple RBI.

Wesco South 3A/2A

Archbishop Murphy 22, Lynnwood 2 (5)

EVERETT — The Wildcats (10-5, 7-2) earned their largest win in two seasons after exploding for 22 runs in just three innings. Maddie Evans (1-for-1, HR, 2 RBI, 3 runs) set the tone, homering on the first Archbishop Murphy at-bat of the game. From there, the Wildcats would put 10 more runs on the board in the first inning alone. Saylah Lopez (1-for-1, HR, 6 RBI, 2 runs) put the finishing touches on the game with a third-inning grand slam to get Archbishop Murphy to 22. Lopez also pitched all five innings, striking out six while allowing five hits and no earned runs. Alliyanha Corleone (1-for-2, SB, run) and Zoey Martin (1-for-1, run) each scored once for the Royals (1-14, 0-9).

Meadowdale 15, Mountlake Terrace 5 (6)

LYNNWOOD — The Mavericks (6-9, 5-3) broke a 5-5 third-inning tie with seven fifth-inning runs to earn a key league win. Madison Mitchell (3-for-5, 2 3B, 5 RBI, 2 R) ignited Meadowdale’s offense all day, doubling twice. Samantha Martens (2-for-3, HR, 3 RBI, 2 runs) hit a three-run home run in the third to pull the Mavericks even with the Hawks (7-8, 5-4). Amaya Johnson (0-for-1, 2 runs) scored a team-high two runs for Mountlake Terrace.

Shorewood 12, Shorecrest 2 (5)
