Wesco 4A

Arlington 4, Jackson 3

ARLINGTON — After four scoreless innings on either side, the Timberwolves (6-10 overall, 3-3 league) scored three runs in the fifth inning. The Eagles matched that figure in the sixth and walked it off on a Kylie Nuyen (2-for-4, 2B, RBI, run) single to improve to 4-10 and 2-5 in league play. Morgan Miller scored the final run while pitcher Peyton Aanstad had 10 Ks to five hits allowed in a complete game in the circle. Maddie Jacquot (2-for-4) had an RBI and a run while Allie Thomsen struck out 12 for the Timberwolves.

Lake Stevens 18, Mariner 6

Kamiak at Glacier Peak, canceled

Wesco North 3A/2A

Marysville Getchell 3, Everett 2

EVERETT — Hannah Worth (1-for-3, RBI) found her first hit of the day at the right time, as a seventh-inning single to right field would put the Chargers (7-9, 1-4) ahead late. Jaidyn Swanson (0-for-2, run) scored on that play while Elle Glover (2-for-4, 2B, RBI, run) was the only Charger to record an RBI and a run. Marysville Getchell pitcher Aaliyah Schafer had a solid seven innings, striking out 10 and allowing three hits while giving up no earned runs. Everett pitcher Anna Luscher struck out 16 and allowed just three hits.

Northwest

Burlington-Edison 6, Lakewood 5

ARLINGTON — The Cougars (4-8, 4-5) came up short of a comeback, scoring two out of the three runs they needed to tie it on a late single from Katie Krueger (2-for-4, SB, 3B, 2 RBI, run). Krueger also tripled earlier in the contest, stealing home soon after while pitching all seven innings for seven Ks and one earned run. Emma Tocco (0-for-0, 2 BB, 2 runs) was the only Cougar to score multiple times, as she got the most out of the final single by scoring from second base.

Emerald Sound

South Whidbey 7, Granite Falls 5

LANGLEY — A late push to load the bases and score on two steals of home in the seventh proved to be too little, too late for the Tigers (6-6, 1-2). Granite Falls stole seven bases on the day and Bella Frye (3-for-4, SB, 3B) scored once while bringing in two runs.

Non-league

MP at Lynnwood, score not reported
