Prep softball: Snohomish 8, Shorecrest 6

SNOHOMISH — Jenny Winston’s two-run double in the fifth inning drove in Sissy Bates-Mundell and Tristan Melhart to complete Snohomish’s comeback in the non-league game. Winston’s hit gave Snohomish a 7-6 lead after Shorecrest led 4-1 early. Bailey Seek came on in relief in the third inning, allowing just one hit and two runs the rest of the way to get the win. Anna Pisac was 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI and Kaytlin Kurvis was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Snohomish (4-0). Shorecrest fell to 1-3.
