ARLINGTON — Sultan sophomore Shelby Jeffries had two of Sultan’s three hits, including a solo home run in the 7th inning, to lead the Turks over Lakewood in the Cascade Conference game.
Jeffries was also the winning pitcher for Sultan, striking out 15 batters in the game.
“She’s the real deal,” said Lakewood head coach Steve Barker.
