Van Rensum, a sophomore, threw three innings of scoreless relief and went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and an RBI as the Wildcats beat Mountlake Terrace 4-0.
Jacob Burkett, Arlington baseball
Burkett, a sophomore, tossed a three-hit shutout as the Eagles beat Stanwood 10-0 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Dylan Schwartzmiller, Snohomish baseball
Schwartzmiller, a freshman, drove in the game-winning run to cap a four-run seventh inning as the Panthers beat Oak Harbor 7-6 to sweep a doubleheader.
Nicole Jocobi, Granite Falls softball
Jocobi, a junior, went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, two RBI and scored three runs as the Tigers pounded Sultan 21-2.
