Newman, a senior, dropped 30 points on Sultan, sinking 11 of 14 free throws along the way, in the Falcons’ 62-35 win.
Irena Korolenko, Cedar Park Christian
Korolenko, a junior, poured in 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Eagles’ 64-38 victory over Granite Falls.
Mitch Jones, Stanwood
Jones, a senior, netted a game-high 26 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the Spartans’ 61-53 victory over previously unbeaten Mountlake Terrace.
Brock Widmann, Lake Stevens
Widdman, a senior, scored 23 points, drilling seven 3-pointers along the way, in the Vikings’ 89-49 victory over Cascade.
Mikail Montez, Marysville Getchell
Montez, a senior, scored 24 points in the Chargers’ 58-39 win over Lynnwood.
