Here are the prep stars of the night for Monday, April 8:

Brionna Palm, Marysville Getchell softball

Palm, a junior, tossed a one-hit shutout, striking out nine while allowing zero walks, in the Chargers’ 10-0 six-inning win over Shorecrest. She also went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Kiley Hubby, Lake Stevens softball

Hubby, a junior, went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and walk in the Vikings’ 4-1 victory over Jackson.

Alvin Kwak, Kamiak boys golf

Kwak, a senior, fired a 5-under 67 to claim medalist honors at the Tom Dolan Invite at the Everett Golf Course & Country Club.

Cassidy Phelps, Marysville Pilchuck softball

Phelps, a junior, hit for the cycle during a 4 for 5 performance as the Tomahawks beat Shorewood, 18-5.

Matthew Farnam, Shorecrest boys soccer

Farnam, a senior, assisted on all three of the Scots’ goals in a 3-1 win over Marysville Getchell.

Kevin Giessler, Jackson boys soccer

Giessler, a senior, scored the game-winning goal in double overtime as the Timberwolves outlasted Lake Stevens, 2-1.

River Stewart, Meadowdale, boys soccer

Stewart, a sophomore, scored four goals in the Mavericks’ 10-1 win over Oak Harbor.
