Here are the prep stars for Monday, Sept. 30:

MacKenzie Whyte, Snohomish volleyball

Whyte, a junior, recorded 16 kills and 11 digs in the Panthers’ 3-0 win over Cedarcrest.

Maggie McGinness, Edmonds-Woodway volleyball

McGinness, a junior, dished out 37 assists and recorded three service aces in the Warriors’ 3-1 win over Marysville Getchell.

Jenna Olson, Marysville Pilchuck volleyball

Olson, a senior, racked up 32 digs in the Tomahawks 3-2 win over Meadowdale.

Ty Rusko, Arlington boys tennis

Rusko, a freshman, won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles in the Eagles’ 5-2 loss to Snohomish. It was Rusko’s first-ever varsity match.
