Vincent, a senior, beat defending Class 1A 220-pound state champion Gage Cooke of Granger High School in a 5-2 decision to claim first place in the 220-pound weight class at the prestigious Tri-State tournament at North Idaho College.
Danaysia Cain, Mariner girls basketball
Cain, a freshman, scored a game-high 18 points and added six steals in the Marauders’ 54-22 win over Concrete.
Saul Hernandez, Meadowdale boys wrestling
Hernandez, a sophomore, won all three of his matches by pinfall on his way to first place in at 182 pounds at the Lynnwood Classic at Lynnwood High School.
Sumina Gurung, Everett girls wrestling
Gurung, a sophomore, took first place in 105-pound weight class at the Lynden “Pride of Lady Lions” Invitational at Lynden High School.
Wes Ostland, Snohomish boys basketball
Ostland, a junior, scored 10 of his game-high 17 points in the third quarter in the Panthers’ 50-45 victory over Juanita.
Vatoria Keyes, Edmonds-Woodway girls wrestling
Keyes, a senior, won the 235-pound weight class at the Lynden “Pride of Lady Lions” Invitational.
Tara Fesiienko, Everett boys basketball
Fesiienko, a junior, tallied a game-high 26 points, knocking down six 3-pointers, in the Seagulls 73-53 win over Kingston.
