Zachary Bevans, Lynnwood boys swim & dive
Bevans, a senior, broke the Edmonds School District meet record in the 100 butterfly with a first-place time of 51.96 seconds at Lynnwood Pool. Bevans bested the previous mark by 1.44 seconds.
Edmonds-Woodway boys 200-yard freestyle relay team
The Warriors’ quartet of Anton Teplouhov, Andrew Rutz, Niko Inadomi and Mate’ Pallos broke the Edmonds School District Meet record in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a mark of 1 minute, 31.7 seconds, topping the previous record by 1.69 seconds.
Chloe Pattison, Lake Stevens girls basketball
Pattison, a sophomore, needed just three quarters to hit four 3-pointers and reach a game-high 19 points in the Vikings’ 76-39 Wesco 4A home victory over Kamiak.
Nahom Mehari, Shorewood boys basketball
Mehari, a senior, scored a game-high 20 points in the Thunderbirds’ 54-46 Wesco 3A/2A home victory of Archbishop Murphy.
