Here are the prep stars of the night for Saturday, March 30:
Ben Hann, Cedar Park Christian baseball
Hann, a senior, tossed a compelte game shutout allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out four in the Eagles’ 4-0 victory over Anacortes. Hann also drove in a run with a 1 for 2 performance at the plate.
Aaliyah Collins, Glacier Peak girls track and field
Collins, a sophomore, won the 400 meters witha person-best time of 59.45 seconds at the Eisenhower Invite in Yakima. Collins also helped the Grizzlies 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams to first-place finishes.
Sydney Smith, Cedarcrest girls track and field
Smith, a sophomore, won the 3oo-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 48.82 seconds at the Eisenhower Invite.
Samuel Van Peursem, Cedar Park Christian boys track and field
Van Peursem, a senior, finished first in the shotput with a throw of 61 feet, 9.5 inches and first in the discus with a throw of 155-01 at the Coupeville Invite.
