Prep stars of the night for Saturday, May 4:

Aaron Robertson, Everett baseball

Robertson, a junior, went 2-for-3 with a double and a bases-clearing triple that gave the Seagulls breathing room late in their 8-4 win over Meadowdale in the first round of the 3A District 1 tournament. He finished the game with four RBI.

Kyle Houk, Meadowdale boys soccer

Houk, a junior, saved all three of the penalty kicks he faced, lifting the Mavericks to a shootout victory over Snohomish in the first round of the 3A District 1 tournament.

Gunnar Morehead, King’s boys soccer

Morehead, a senior, made 11 saves as the Knights’ goalkeeper and also scored the match-winning goal on a free kick in the team’s 3-2 win over South Whidbey in the 1A District 1 tournament championship game.

Andrew Haight, Monroe baseball

Haight, a junior, hit a game-winning single to lift the Bearcats past Eastlake 3-2, in nine innings in a 4A Wes-King Bi-District tournament quarterfinal.

Jackson Erdman, Cedar Park Christian baseball

Erdman, a junior, threw a complete-game three-hitter as the Eagles beat South Whidbey 5-1 in a 1A District 1/2 tournament semifinal, sealing a state berth for CPC. Erdman struck out nine and did not walk a batter.
