Here are the prep stars of the night for Saturday, Oct. 5:
Baker Campbell, King’s girls cross country
Campbell, a sophomore, took second in the girls Class 1B-2A race at the Nike Twilight Invitational at Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville with a time of 19 minutes, 10.7 seconds.
Naomi Smith, King’s girls cross country
Smith, a senior, won the girls Class 3A-4A race at the Nike Twilight Invitational, finishing with a time of 17:21.7. Smith, who competes for Class 1A King’s, finished 29.6 seconds in front of her nearest competitor.
Micah Murphy, Lynnwood boys cross country
Murphy, a senior, was the top local finisher in the Class 3A-4A boys race at the Nike Twilight Invitational. Murphy took eighth with a time of 15:57.9.
Grace Rinaldi, Granite Falls girls soccer
Rinaldi, a senior, scored three goals and added an assist in the Tigers’ 9-0 win over La Conner.
Alyvia Wright, Darrington volleyball
Wright, a sophomore, stuffed the stat sheet with 31 assists, six digs, three kills, two service aces and a block in the Loggers’ 3-1 win over Crosspoint.
