Maia Marks, Snohomish girls tennis
Marks, a sophomore, defeated Shorecrest’s Alyssa Oshiro 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles to provide the difference in the Panthers’ 4-3 non-conference victory over the Scots.
Trevor Loucks, Marysville Getchell baseball
Loucks, a sophomore center fielder, went 5-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored from the leadoff spot to lift the Chargers to a 13-3, six-inning win over Lakewood.
Josh Selby, Lake Stevens boys golf
Selby, a senior, fired a 74 to earn medalist honors at a meet with Shorewood, Edmonds-Woodway and host Oak Harbor at Whidbey Golf & Country Club.
Skylar Tillman, Shorewood softball
Tillman, a freshman, struck out nine Nathan Hale batters in a complete-game three-hitter and went 2-for-4 at the plate to help the Thunderbirds to a 7-2 non-conference win.
Josh Latimer, Lynnwood baseball
Latimer, a senior, went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI as the Royals roared back from a 7-1 deficit to beat Bishop Blanchet 8-7. Latimer’s home came in the sixth inning, when Lynnwood cut the lead to 7-3. He also started the game on the mound, working five-plus innings.
