Bre Enriquez, Mountlake Terrace girls swimming
Enriquez, a sophomore, won her two individual events and swam on two winning relays to help the Hawks beat Meadowdale 94-76 in a Wesco South meet at Lynnwood Pool.
Alec Matulka and Drew Boland, Edmonds-Woodway boys tennis
Matulka and Boland, both seniors, rallied from a first-set defeat to beat Shorewood’s Ari Webb and Bennett Vana and help the Warriors secure a Wesco 3A South championship with a 4-3 win. Matulka and Boland were leading 5-3 in the third set, but Webb and Vana fought off six match points to tie it at 5-all before it ultimately ended 7-5. Both Edmonds-Woodway and Shorewood entered the match unbeaten.
Adah Hall, Meadowdale volleyball
Hall, a sophomore setter, dished out 32 assists and recorded 23 digs to help the Mavericks rally from a 2-1 deficit to beat Everett in five sets in a Wesco 3A thriller.
Devon Martinka, Stanwood volleyball
Martinka, a senior outside hitter, pounded out 26 kills and added 22 digs to lift the unbeaten Spartans to a 3-1 win over Lynnwood.
Sydney Petersen, Glacier Peak volleyball
Petersen, a senior middle blocker, totalled eight blocks to go along with 12 kills and two aces in the Grizzlies’ five-set win over Monroe.
Madison Kellogg, Shorecrest girls soccer
Kellogg, a senior forward, scored the match winning goal in the second period of extra time, lifting the Scots to a 3-2 Wesco 3A win over Snohomish.
