Olson and Mueller combined to win in three sets at No. 3 doubles to help the Seagulls beat their cross-town rival Cascade 4-3 in the first match of the season for both teams.
Callie Wright, M/F, King’s girls soccer
Wright, a senior, scored four goals and added an assist as the Knights routed Sedro-Woolley 6-1 in a non-conference match.
Emma Leggett, OH, South Whidbey volleyball
Leggett, a senior, recorded 14 kills and five service aces as the 1A Falcons swept the 4A Marauders in a non-conference match.
Gracie VanAssche, F, Snohomish girls soccer
VanAssche, a junior, scored the eventual match-winning goal in the 65th minute, giving the Panthers a 2-1 win in a rivalry clash with Glacier Peak.
