Nguyen and Sou rebounded from a opening-set defeat to rally for a win over Mountlake Terrace’s Kayla Primavera and Lindsey Ho at No. 1 doubles in the Royals’ 4-3 win over the Hawks.
Natalia Zieroth, Marysville Pilchuck girls golf
Zieroth posted a 9-over-par 77 to take medalist honors at a Wesco 3A North match between Marysville Pilchuck and Everett at Legion Memorial Golf Course.
Taylor Khorrami, Snohomish softball
Khorrami, a senior, went 2-for-5 with two triples and two RBI in the Panthers’ 3-1, nine-inning victory over Everett.
