David Hyun, Jackson boys tennis

Hyung beat Redmond’s Eli Trepte 7-5, 6-2 at No. 2 singles to clinch the Timberwolves’ 4-3 win over the Mustangs, helping Jackson bounce back from a 5-2 loss to Shorewood on Wednesday.

Alex Williams, Mountlake Terrace boys cross country

Williams, a senior, won the boys individual title at an eight-team meet at River Meadows Park in Arlington, posting a time of 10 minutes, five seconds on the two-mile course.

Aviry Stratton, Glacier Peak cross country

Stratton, a senior, won the girls individual title at a five-team meet at McCollum Park in Everett, posting a time of 18 minutes, 57 seconds on the 3,200-meter course. Stratton’s performance helped the Grizzlies to the girls team title as well.

Annika Urvater, Everett volleyball

Urvater, a senior setter/right side, recorded five kills, two service aces and 10 assists to help the Seagulls to a sweep of cross-town rival Cascade.
