LYNNWOOD — There was a lot of symmetry to Meadowdale’s defeat of Edmonds-Woodway Thursday night.
Led by Emily Denham’s eight kills and 14 digs, the Mavericks swept the Warriors by the identical score of 25-23 in all three games to win the nonconference match.
Payton shrum added 20 assists and nine digs and Lindsey Milner had six kills, six aces, 12 digs and 2 blocks to pace Meadowdale (1-0).
For Edmonds-Woodway (0-2 overall) Julia Hutchinson had 20 disgs and Selma Tanjo had six kills and 18 digs in the loss.
