Prep volleyball: Monroe 3, Lake Stevens 0

MONROE — Senior Jessica Clark led Wesco 4A leading Monroe (6-0) with 17 kills and 13 digs as the Bearcats recorded a three-set victory over Lake Stevens on Thursday.

Meredith Teague had eight kills while Alivia Kaasa and Rhiannon LaLonde were next with seven kills apiece for Monroe.

Alley Hadden led the Bearcats in assists with 24 while Tatum McGovern had 15 and Mina Duong checked in with 17 digs.

For Lake Stevens, Gabby Gunterman led the Vikings in kills with 19, Lilly Eason in assists with 20, and Madi Solis in digs with 19.
