MONROE — Monroe came into Monday night’s match against Lake Stevens trailing the Vikings by one in the Wesco 4A standings and in danger of being eliminated from playoff contention.
Instead, the Bearcats swept the Vikings by set scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-19 to draw even with them in the standings going into the final match of the regular season on Thursday.
