SNOHOMISH — Despite having to deal with the loss of team captain Cierra Short to a season-ending injury, Snohomish (8-2, 11-3) overcame Stanwood 28-26, 25-10 and 25-12 in a Wesco 4A match. Lanesha Reagan had 16 kills, Julie Nelson had 12 kills and seven aces and Hannah Mantei had 30 assists to lead the Panthers. Joeli Funderburke had eight kills and Nikki Swenson had 19 assists for Stanwood (1-9, 4-10).
