OAK HARBOR — Lake Stevens accomplished what most have thought to be a formality for many weeks on Thursday night, winning the Wesco North dual meet wrestling championship.
Lake Stevens (8-0 league, 12-1 overall) defeated Oak Harbor 57-10 to finish its league season undefeated.
The Vikings returned to the top of the standings after losing the title to Snohomish last season.
Four Lake Stevens wrestlers scored pins in less than one minute and Oak Harbor managed just two victories in the meet.
