Not sure anyone really expected Washington to be within three with 8 1/2 minutes to go. But that’s what’s going on. The Huskies are really making plays on both sides of the ball and USC has started to struggle just a bit. Steve Smith has had to go to the locker room with a sprained ankle so that is in the Huskies favor, and USC just used its second timeout, which could be huge if Washington can take advantage of this next possession.
