The Seattle Seahawks’ offseason activities officially came to an end last week with the conclusion of veteran minicamp. The players are now off for six weeks before training camp begins in late July.
It was an eventful offseason to say the least, with star cornerback Richard Sherman constantly in the headlines. From rumors of a possible trade to sensational stories in ESPN the Magazine to Sherman and the team saying they’ve come to peace with one another, Sherman has provided quite the ride for Seahawks fans this offseason.
But the Sherman news was far from the only development during offseason activities.
There was progress seen from free safety Earl Thomas and receiver Tyler Lockett from the injuries that brought their 2016 seasons to a premature end.
There was the signing of quarterback Austin Davis to compete for the back-up position — which coincided with the team deciding not to bring in the controversial Colin Kaepernick.
There was the weight gain by left tackle George Fant as he continues to try and develop into a dependable blind-side protector for starting QB Russell Wilson.
There was new running back Eddie Lacy reportedly hitting all his weight goals.
There was a lack of a contract extension for strong safety Kam Chancellor, who’s heading into the final year of his current deal.
And there was so much more.
So which was the biggest development?
We’re changing this up a little this week, with the poll moving back to the blog rather than being on Twitter as there’s more viable answers that a Twitter poll will allow. So have your say here:
