EVERETT — It didn’t take long for Julio Rodriguez to pick up where he left off.
In just his second game back after a stint with the Dominican Republic national team, Rodriguez went 4-for-5 with a double, home run, three runs batted in and three runs scored in the Everett AquaSox’s 9-4 win over the Eugene Emeralds on Wednesday night at Funko Field.
Austin Shenton went 3-for-5 with a home run and three runs batted in as Everett’s offense pounded out 15 total hits.
Kaden Polcovich, Zach DeLoach and Cody Grosse each had two hits for the AquaSox.
Matt Brash started for Everett (19-12) and allowed two runs on two hits in 4.2 innings. Brash walked four and struck out seven.
Tyler Fitzgerald went 4-for-5 for Eugene (19-13).
