ST. LOUIS — Brian Conklin scored 25 points and Saint Louis coasted to an easy 77-64 victory over Washington on Sunday.
The Huskies scored the first two points, but the Billikens took the lead for good at 8-6 on Kwamain Mitchell’s 3-point shot and never looked back. It was 50-25 Saint Louis at the half and Washington never got closer again than the final 13-point margin.
Mitchell scored 18 points for the Billikens (3-0) and contributed four 3-pointers. Saint Louis was 9 for 21 from behind the arc.
Terrence Ross led the Huskies (3-1) with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Tony Wroten had 14 points before fouling out and Aziz N’Diaye scored 11 points.
