Steve Sarkisian is about to meet with reporters, and we just got a release saying he has picked three members of his staff: Jim Michalczik, Demetrice Martin and Johnny Nansen. Also, Jared Blank has been hired as the director of player personnel.
Michalczik, previously the offensive line coach at Cal, will be the offensive line coach and offensive coordinator.
Nansen, who has been an assistant at Idaho the last five years, will coach special teams and also work with the defensive staff. Martin, previously an assistant at Mt. San Antonio College, will coach the secondary. Martin was a graduate assistant at USC before going to Mt. San Antonio.
Blank was previously the director of player personnel for USC. His role will center on administration of Washington’s recruiting efforts.
