Kyle Nobach (Marysville Pilchuck, Everett Community College) went 2-for-4 with a stolen base as the Beavers clinched the series in front of the largest crowd in the history of Husky Ballpark (2,360).
Alex Schmidt (Kamiak) went 1-for-4 and Brandon Choate (Mountlake Terrace) threw a scoreless inning of relief for the Huskies.
Washington State 5, Arizona 3
Sam Triece (Meadowdale, Edmonds Community College) threw 1.1 scoreless innings of relief as the Cougars scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to pull ahead of the Wildcats in Pullman.
Triece has a 2.98 ERA out of the Cougar bullpen this season.
Puget Sound 4, Pacific Lutheran 1
Casey Dawes (Archbishop Murphy) went hitless in two at-bats for the Lutes in a loss to UPS at the PLU Tournament.
Pacific Lutheran 4, Linfield 3 (10)
Eric Lawson (Archbishop Murphy) doubled, scored a run and stole a base for Linfield, but Jacob Bockelie (Shorewood) and the Lutes pushed across a run in the 10th to get the walkoff win.
Ben Andrews (Shorewood) played first base for Linfield.
MSU-Billings 9-5, Saint Martin’s 1-0
Blake Lord (Lynnwood) had two hits in a doubleheader against MSU-Billings, but the Saints lost both games to end their season.
