It’s definitely easier to be a spirited fan when your favorite team is winning, but some optimistic rooters are upbeat no matter what.

What kind of fan are you? Check out this survey question posted on the KIRO TV Web site. It asks: Which cheer squad has the most spirit?

Six of the seven schools listed are local: Archbishop Murphy, Granite Falls, South Whidbey, Cedarcrest, Lakewood and Sultan. The winning school will have one of its cheers featured on KIROtv.com.

As of 8:20 this morning, Granite Falls is winning decisively with 39 percent of the votes.

The Granite Falls football team is off to a solid 3-2 start this season, but the Tigers aren’t included in this week’s Associated Press state football poll. However, a bunch of other area squads made it. Take a look.
