The first round of roster cuts has to be made by Sept. 1, but the Seahawks have already annouced that they’ve cut four players, none of which are a big surprise. They are defensive tackle Kevin Brown, fullback Dan Curran, linebacker Shane Simmons and tight end John Tereshinski. That leaves the Seahawks with 76 players, but cornerback Marcus Trufant, who is on the physically unable to perform list, doesn’t count towards the active roster, so they don’t need to make another cut to get to the required 75 by Tuesday.
