OK, another break from March Madness for a Seahawks update. This was first reported last night, but the Seahawks confirmed today that they have signed running back Quinton Ganther, who spent last season with Washington.

SEAHAWKS SIGN RB GANTHER
Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks signed running back Quinton Ganther to a one-year contract, the team announced this afternoon.
Ganther, 25, played in eight games last season for Washington after signing with the Redskins on November 11, 2009. He rushed the ball 62 times for 201 yards and three touchdowns. Ganther started the last four games of the 2009 season and collected a career-high 94 total yards and two touchdowns at Oakland (12/13).
An original 2006 seventh-round pick by Tennessee, he played three seasons for the Titans before being waived injured on September 5, 2009.
For his career, Ganther has 262 rushing yards, 99 receiving yards and three rushing touchdowns.
