The Seahawks claimed tackle Brandon Frye off waivers and released tackle Kyle Williams. Frye, who was released by Miami yesterday, played in seven games for the Dolphins last season. Williams, an undrafted rookie out of USC, started one game late last season as the Seahawks line was decimated by injuries.
Neither Frye nor Williams figured to be a big contributor barring injury, but the Seahawks must have decided Frye was a better option as a backup.
