Kelly Jennings, a starting cornerback in 14 games last season, will sign a one-year deal to stay in Seattle, reports Sports Illustrated’s Peter King.
The move won’t be incredibly popular with fans, but the Seahawks are thin at cornerback, and Jennings obviously knows the defense well. And while Jennings was a starter last season, the guess here is that Walter Thurmond will have the inside edge on the starting spot opposite Marcus Trufant. Don’t count out some of the rookies as well.
