Here’s the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive and defensive snap counts from their 37-19 victory over the San Francisco 49ers (plays, percentage):
OFFENSE (70)
G Glowinski (70, 100)
G Webb (70, 100)
C Britt (70, 100)
T Gilliam (70, 100)
T Sowell (68, 97)
WR Baldwin (55, 79)
WR Kearse (54, 77)
TE Willson (48, 69)
TE Graham (47, 67)
QB Wilson (47, 67)
RB Michael (45, 64)
WR Richardson (27, 39)
WR Lockett (23, 33)
QB Boykin (23, 33)
RB Collins (18, 26)
TE Williams (15, 21)
WR McEvoy (13, 19)
RB Magee (5, 7)
T Fant (2, 3)
Notes: Quarterback Russell Wilson never missed a play because of injury prior to Sunday’s game, but he missed 23 against the 49ers because of his sprained knee. Receiver Tyler Lockett saw a significant drop in plays, which is no doubt because of the knee injury that had him listed as questionable going into the game. I didn’t see when tackle George Fant got into two plays at left tackle in place of Bradley Sowell, but those were the first NFL snaps for the undrafted rookie and former college basketball player.
DEFENSE (57)
SS Chancellor (57, 100)
FS Thomas (57, 100)
CB Sherman (57, 100)
LB Wagner (57, 100)
LB Wright (57, 100)
CB Shead (57, 100)
DE Bennett (54, 95)
DE Avril (46, 81)
CB Lane (44, 77)
DE Clark (30, 53)
DT Reed (29, 51)
DT Smith (24, 42)
DT McDaniel (17, 30)
DE Marsh (14, 25)
DT Rubin (14, 25)
LB Morgan (13, 23)
Notes: The Seahawks spent almost all of Sunday’s game in their nickel defense, which explains why nickel corner Jeremy Lane saw so many more snaps than strong-side linebacker Mike Morgan. It’s interesting to see how much defensive tackle Garrison Smith, a waiver-wire pick up just before the season began who had yet to be active this season before Sunday, played against his former team.
