The Seahawks surprised people by taking an undersized receiver in the second round, but with the 123rd pick of the draft, they got the big-bodied receiver that was perceived as a team need.
Kevin Norwood, who is listed at 6-2, 199 pounds, didn’t put up huge numbers at Alabama, finishing with 1,275 yards and 81 catches in four seasons, but has the combination of size and speed (4.48 40-yard dash) to be an intriguing prospect. On top of that, it looks like the Seahawks are getting a pretty darn good person as well, as is noted in this profile on NFL.com.
