Seahawks vs. Cowboys inactives: Sweezy plays for Seattle

Four starters, including star running back Ezekiel Elliott, return for the Cowboys.

Here is the inactives report for Saturday’s playoff game between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas:

SEATTLE

Inactive: FB Tre Madden, CB Kalan Reed, RB Bo Scarbrough, T Elijah Nkansah, WR Malik Turner, DE Branden Jackson, DE Rasheem Green.

Notes: The most significant piece of news for Seattle is that starting LG J.R. Sweezy is active. Sweezy missed last week’s 27-24 home victory over Arizona because of a foot injury and was considered a game-time decision for this one. SS Delano Hill (hip), who started in place of injured FS Tedric Thompson (ankle) last week, was placed on injured reserve this week. However, Thompson is back, with Bradley McDougald returning to SS after switching over to FS last week. Starting CB Shaquill Griffin (ankle) didn’t finish last week’s game, but is good to go this week. Madden (hamstring) sits after being listed as doubtful.

DALLAS

Inactive: LG Xavier Su’a-Filo, DT David Irving, QB Mike White, LB Chris Covington, RB Darius Jackson, S Darian Thompson, DE Dorance Armstrong.

Notes: Dallas welcomes back star RB Ezekiel Elliott, who was rested for last week’s 36-35 road victory over the New York Giants as the Cowboys were already locked into the NFC’s No. 4 seed. Three other starters who sat out last week with injury designations — LT Tyron Smith (neck), RG Zack Martin (knee), DT Tyrone Crawford (neck) — also return. Su’a-Filo (ankle), who had been starting, is out, meaning Connor Williams returns to LG after filling in at RG. Irving (ankle) and Thompson (groin), both back-ups, sit this one out. But WR Tavon Austin (groin) is active after being listed as questionable.
