Seahawks vs. Cowboys inactives: Thomas and Britt will play

Bobby Wagner also returns for Seattle, while Dallas is close to full strength.

Here are the inactives for Sunday’s game between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys at CenturyLink Field:

SEATTLE (0-2)

Inactive: RB C.J. Prosise, S Delano Hill, LB K.J. Wright, DT Poona Ford, G Jordan Simmons, G Ethan Pocic, WR Doug Baldwin.

Notes: Seattle had three starters — Wright (knee), Pocic (ankle), Baldwin (knee) — who had already been ruled out because of injury. However, the Seahawks’ two questionables, C Justin Britt (shoulder) and LB Mychal Kendricks (ankle), will play. S Earl Thomas, who didn’t practice Wednesday or Friday for mysterious non-injury reasons, leaving coach Pete Carroll saying nothing definitive about Thomas’ status for today’s game during his Friday press conference, is active and will play. Star LB Bobby Wagner returns following a week out because of a groin injury, while fellow starters G D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and CB Tre Flowers (hamstring) also return. With Fluker back but Pocic out, J.R. Sweezy switches from spelling Fluker at right guard to replacing Pocic at left guard. Interesting to see Prosise get his second healthy scratch in three weeks as Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny and Mike Davis are preferred at running back.

DALLAS (1-1)

Inactive: QB Mike White, WR Brice Butler, LB Chris Covington, C Travis Frederick, G Xavier Su’a-Filo, TE Dalton Schultz, DT Maliek Collins.

Notes: The Cowboys are without one starter as Frederick (illness) continues to sit out while Collins (knee), a backup, was also ruled out earlier in the week. All of Dallas’ questionables — starters S Xavier Woods (hamstring), LB Sean Lee (hamstring), WR Cole Beasley (ankle) — also play, with Woods dressing for the first time this season.
